Version comparison

Group versions into a stack and compare them in one player

Drag a new cut onto the previous one, confirm the version stack, and open two assets side by side — without switching tabs or hunting through folders.

Creating a stack

Simply drag one asset onto another

Both files remain in the project, while the grid presents them as one version stack. The target asset becomes v1 and the dragged asset becomes v2.

Comparison player

Two cuts side by side with one playback position

Open the stack, select exactly two versions, and start comparison. The player places both assets side by side and synchronises playback controls.

  • Choose any two versions in a stack
  • Review both cuts without changing windows

Order instead of duplicates

The history of a cut stays clear to the whole team

One card

The grid shows a compact stack instead of a scatter of nearly identical files.

Clear numbering

Versions receive sequential labels such as v1, v2, and onward.

Add the next cut

Drag another asset directly onto an existing version stack.

Confirm the choice

Before grouping, Time-Notes.ru shows the action and the resulting version order.

Choose within a stack

Choose the versions you need from the stack

One stack can hold several cuts. Open any version on its own or choose any two and compare them directly in the player.
